Still life photography by Amy Weiss

I really like the tranquility of Amy Weissstill life photography… the soft tones of her limited palette, the lovely filtered light, the shallow depth of field, her complementary layering of textures, her pleasing compositions…

Some more of Amy’s work below – what do you think?

Of her practice, Amy says:

I’m an American fine art photographer living in Melbourne, Australia. I stumbled across photography while studying Graphic Design, and it’s been a love affair ever since. I live it, breathe it, dream it. Even without my camera, I’m constantly composing a photo in my head.

Each image I create is an extension of me, whether it be a feeling or mood, things that I love, beautiful places, or something that just happened to catch my eye.
